The WRDSB Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) is excited to announce our fourth annual family event: Building Skills to Navigate the School Years Workshop, which will be hosted on Saturday April 18th 2015 at Bluevale Collegiate. Sessions will include Lesley Andrew, Canadian Singer, Actress and Motivational Speaker with her keynote address “Overcoming Obstacles and Beating the Odds” and also workshops that include : Raising Money Smart Kids, Anxiety in Children, Nurturing the Scientist in Your Family, Homework: What Really Matters, plus many more. This is a free event for the attendees and we estimate registration of 350 people.
