Even though things are starting to wind down to the end of the year, exciting things are happening in Keatsway’s Library.

Friday, June 10 the author Eric Walters will be visiting and doing presentations for all Keatsway students over the course of the day. He has written over 100 books for  students of all ages. Our students have been studying, reading on their own or having his books read to them this spring and they are excited to meet Eric Walters in person. His latest books – End of Days/Regenesis and the Rule of Three trilogy have been very popular with our older readers and the picture books set in an orphanage in Kenya (My Name is Blessing, Hope Springs, Today is the Day and the Matatu) have been exciting for our younger students to listen to and discuss.

June 15-17 there will be a Scholastic Book Fair in the library. This is a good opportunity to stock up on some new books for summer reading. The Fair will be open during Nutrition Breaks for students to purchase and after school every day from 3:30 to 5:00. Proceeds from the Book Fair will be used to bring more authors to Keatsway in the future.

Also, please help your children return their library books in a timely fashion. This is the last week for book exchange – all books need to be returned by June 10th.

Thanks for your support this year!!
