Why?

Teeth are important. We link eligible children and youth to free dental treatment programs. Dental screenings are performed in accordance with the Ontario Public Health Standards under the

Health Protection and Promotion Act.

What?

Dental screenings are a visual check done by a Registered Dental Hygienist using a sterilized mouth mirror for each child. This does not replace your child’s regular dental examination with adentist. Following the dental screening, you will receive a letter stating your child has been screened and the results.

Where?

Dental screenings are done at your child’s school but can also be scheduled at one of our dental clinics. Please call 519-575-4400 ext. 3086
