Dear Keatsway Families

As we say good-bye to the 2019-2020 school year, we want to acknowledge the challenges that we have all had to overcome during an unprecedented time with COVID 19.  Our staff, students and families have done a tremendous job dealing with the stresses of the time and continuing to stay connected through distance learning. We want to thank each and every one of you for your support and confidence as we entered a new phase of education, teaching our students from afar.  We feel privileged to be working in such a caring community. We are not sure what September will look like at this time, but please rest assured that we will continue to support our students and families as best we can. Whether you are joining us again in September or starting a new learning journey at another school, we wish each and every Keatsway Cardinal family a wonderful summer filled with the right balance of rest and fun.

With every school year that comes to a close, we must bid adieu to staff who are parting and welcome those who are joining our Keatsway team.  Staffing will not be fully completed until later in August and any further updates will be shared with our families in early September.  We bid a fond farewell to Mrs. Voisin and Mrs. Nordby who are retiring from teaching after very successful careers as educators.  We wish them all the best!  We also say good-bye to Mrs. Chrysafidis, Madame Bishop, Ms. Haslam, Mrs. Aslam, Mme. Reitzel and Mrs. Benoit who are moving on to other schools.  We wish them all the best!

A warm welcome to Mrs. Dallimore,  who will be joining us teaching Grade 1, Ms. Smith as our new ESL teacher, Mrs. Evers as our DECE and Ms. Bernt as our new Educational Assistant. Other new staff will be joining us over the summer.

Again, we wish all of our families a great summer and thank you for your ongoing support of your child(ren) and Keatsway Public School.  Stay safe!  We look forward to connecting in the fall!

Sincerely,

Penny Miller      Erika Romanowski
