The Free the Children group has started at Keatsway for another year. We meet once a week during a Nutrition Break and the Grade 5 and 6 students who have joined have committed for the school year. The students will be very involved in the choices and decisions for what the group will take on to support Free the Children.
Our first global project this year is the Rafiki Friend necklaces to support families in East Africa. The order sheets went home with students last week and your orders need to be returned with exact cash by November 14th. The Free the Children are also taking on a few local projects. In December, the students will be supporting Books for Kids and a Food Drive to support our families in Waterloo.
We would like to thank you for your support to assist families living in our own city and around the world.
